Joseph Pilates began his exercise regimen as a rehabilitative method, initially for those interned during WWI and wounded soldiers. After coming to the United States, he taught his exercises to dancers, athletes, and entertainers for purposes of recovering faster from injury.
Pilates has since evolved into an exercise methodology suitable for everyone, not only as rehabilitation but for everyday fitness.

We incorporate modern exercise techniques to enhance the benefits of Pilates training, while stressing the mind-body philosophy of Pilates, which focuses the body from within in order to achieve the greatest results.
The Reformer apparatus is the focal point of our instruction, as it uniquely requires the student to practice proper form, which in turn optimizes the training benefit. We also integrate the Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and other Pilates-inspired equipment to give you a well-rounded program that does wonders for your overall fitness.
